Creating Form Fields

How to add interactive form fields — text inputs, checkboxes, radio buttons, and dropdowns — to a PDF in DraftPDF.

DraftPDF's form authoring tools let you add AcroForm widgets to any PDF, turning a static document into a fillable form.

  1. Open the Forms panel from the left sidebar.
  2. Select a field type: Text Field, Checkbox, Radio Button, Combo Box, or List Box.
  3. Click and drag on the page to place the field.
  4. Set the field name and other properties in the right properties panel.
Tip:Use the design/fill mode toggle to switch between placing fields and testing the form interactively.
