Cloud

Create, edit, and delete cloud annotations in DraftPDF.

Cloud annotations create a closed polygon with a cloudy border, which is useful for revision clouds and review markup.

Create

  1. Select the Cloud tool from the annotation toolbar.
  2. Click to place each vertex around the area you want to enclose.
  3. Double-click to close the cloud annotation.

Edit

Select the annotation to open the right-side properties panel. The General section is shared across annotations and lets you review or change common metadata such as Author, Subject, Page, Rect, Print, Locked, Created, and Modified. The Metadata section shows the full annotation object and lets you copy it.

The Cloud panel uses the polygon property editor: Fill, Stroke, Opacity, Stroke Width, stroke style, Cloud Intensity, and Geometry fields for Rect plus the cloud vertices.

Delete

  1. Select the annotation on the page.
  2. Click Delete at the bottom of the right-side properties panel.
  3. The annotation is removed from the current document immediately.
