Polygon

Create, edit, and delete polygon annotations in DraftPDF.

Polygon annotations draw a closed multi-sided shape that can be filled, outlined, or both.

Create

  1. Select the Polygon tool from the annotation toolbar.
  2. Click to place each vertex around the shape.
  3. Double-click to close the polygon and finish the annotation.

Edit

Select the annotation to open the right-side properties panel. The General section is shared across annotations and lets you review or change common metadata such as Author, Subject, Page, Rect, Print, Locked, Created, and Modified. The Metadata section shows the full annotation object and lets you copy it.

The Polygon panel includes Appearance controls for Fill, Stroke, Opacity, Stroke Width, and stroke style. Cloud polygons also expose Cloud Intensity. The Geometry section lists Rect plus every polygon vertex for direct coordinate editing.

Delete

  1. Select the annotation on the page.
  2. Click Delete at the bottom of the right-side properties panel.
  3. The annotation is removed from the current document immediately.
