Ink Highlighter

Create, edit, and delete ink highlighter annotations in DraftPDF.

Ink Highlighter uses freehand strokes with highlighter-style width and transparency for loose, hand-drawn emphasis.

Create

  1. Select the Ink Highlighter tool from the annotation toolbar.
  2. Press and drag to draw the highlight stroke.
  3. Release to finish the annotation.

Edit

Select the annotation to open the right-side properties panel. The General section is shared across annotations and lets you review or change common metadata such as Author, Subject, Page, Rect, Print, Locked, Created, and Modified. The Metadata section shows the full annotation object and lets you copy it.

The Ink Highlighter panel includes Appearance controls for Stroke, Opacity, and Stroke Width, plus the read-only Ink List summary in Geometry.

Delete

  1. Select the annotation on the page.
  2. Click Delete at the bottom of the right-side properties panel.
  3. The annotation is removed from the current document immediately.
